The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is set to be unveiled later this week, following the release of its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mix Flip. Ahead of the official launch, the company has shared several teasers on social media, showcasing both the design and key specifications of the new clamshell foldable device.
The upcoming smartphone will feature a 4.01-inch cover screen and a 6.86-inch main display. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the Mix Flip 2 will also include a robust 5,165mAh battery. Recent sightings on the Geekbench benchmarking platform further confirm its anticipated performance capabilities.
Xiaomi’s teasers on Weibo have revealed that the Mix Flip 2 will be available in at least four color variations: black, gold, green, and purple, although the official names for these colors have not yet been disclosed. The phone maintains a design aesthetic similar to its predecessor and is expected to have a cover display boasting a brightness of up to 3,200 nits. Xiaomi asserts that over 500 applications will be compatible with the cover screen alongside the larger main display.
Equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 promises enhanced performance alongside a 5,165mAh battery with support for 50W wireless charging—an improvement over the prior model’s 4,780mAh battery. Additionally, the device will feature a metal midframe for added durability.
The design of the Mix Flip 2 is complemented by a new hinge, engineered to withstand more than 200,000 folds. The device will have a thickness of 7.57mm when folded and will weigh approximately 199 grams. For photography enthusiasts, the phone will sport a dual rear camera setup branded with Leica optics.
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Appears on Geekbench
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 recently appeared on Geekbench under the model number 2505APX7BC. According to the benchmark listing, the device operates on the Android 15 platform and features 10.86GB of RAM. In terms of performance, the Mix Flip 2 has achieved a score of 3,099 in single-core testing and 9,583 in multi-core testing.
As noted, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which includes an octa-core setup with six cores clocked at 3.53GHz and two cores reaching up to 4.32GHz.
The official launch event for the Mix Flip 2 will take place in China on June 26. During the same event, Xiaomi will also unveil additional products, including the Redmi K80 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, Redmi K Pad, and Xiaomi YU7.
