WhatsApp has introduced an innovative feature for its iOS users, enabling them to view drafted and unsent messages without navigating to individual chats. The latest update includes a prominent Draft label adjacent to chats that contain incomplete messages, allowing users to easily identify which conversations require their attention without the need to scroll through their chat list.
Introducing the Drafts Label
The new drafts label was first highlighted by WABetaInfo and is part of the WhatsApp for iOS app version 24.22.83. According to the official changelog from WhatsApp, users can now easily spot message drafts through the designated Draft label in their chat lists. This enhancement streamlines the process of finding unsent or unfinished messages, eliminating the need to sift through each chat individually.
This feature initially appeared in the beta version of WhatsApp for iOS (24.18.10.72) last month, accessible to those participating in Apple’s TestFlight program. The full release in the latest version signifies that it is now available to all users of WhatsApp for iOS.
While the availability of the drafts label has been confirmed by staff members at Gadgets 360, the new home screen widget has yet to be discovered. WhatsApp indicates that the rollout of this feature may take several weeks to complete.
