WhatsApp has initiated the rollout of a new feature for beta testers that allows users to share sticker packs stored on their devices. This update comes about a month after the feature was first reported. Users with the latest beta versions of WhatsApp on both iOS and Android will now have the option to select and share sticker packs with other WhatsApp users, enabling them to download the same pack on their devices. Additionally, WhatsApp has started granting some testers the ability to add messages when forwarding content within the platform.
New Sticker Sharing Feature Utilizes Links
Upon updating to WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.25.2 or WhatsApp beta for iOS 24.24.10.72 via the Google Play beta program and TestFlight, respectively, beta testers will gain access to a new feature within the sticker section of the messaging app. These updates were documented by WABetaInfo, a feature tracking organization.
Testers will notice a new three-dot button while exploring sticker packs installed in WhatsApp. By clicking this button, users can choose between two options: Send and Remove. If a user opts to share a sticker pack, WhatsApp will create a link to that pack, allowing users to select a recipient before hitting the send button.

Currently, the functionality to share complete sticker packs seems to be restricted to those available within WhatsApp. Screenshots shared by WABetaInfo illustrated the sharing capability using the built-in ‘Cuppy’ sticker pack on both iOS and Android platforms.
Another feature gradually reaching beta testers on WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.25.3 is the option to add a message while forwarding content. A screenshot released by the feature tracker demonstrates how a new message field appears once users select contacts for media forwarding.
Gadgets 360 has yet to test these features on the mentioned versions of WhatsApp beta for Android or newer testing versions, including the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.25.12 beta build released to testers recently. This indicates that the implementation of these features is occurring in stages.
