The Vivo Y300 and Vivo Y300 Pro made their debut in China in September and December 2024, respectively. Recently, the company introduced the Vivo Y300 Pro+ and Vivo Y300t variants. Now, Vivo has confirmed the launch date for the Vivo Y300 GT, revealing key design elements and features of this forthcoming smartphone. According to the information provided, the device may be a rebranded model of the iQOO Z10 Turbo, which was released alongside a Pro variant a short while ago.
Launch Information, Design, and Key Specifications of the Vivo Y300 GT
The Vivo Y300 GT is set to be launched in China on May 9 at 10 AM local time (7:30 AM IST), as announced in a post on Weibo. The device has been described as a “durable audio-visual trio.” Promotional images showcase the smartphone in black and champagne gold color options.
The design of the Vivo Y300 GT bears resemblance to the iQOO Z10 Turbo series, introduced in China this past Monday. It features a distinctive “squircle” rear camera module that includes two camera sensors and a ring-like LED flash situated at the top left corner of the back panel. The right edge houses the power button and volume rocker.

A teaser image on the TMall product page indicates that the Vivo Y300 GT will feature a flat display with minimal bezels, a slightly thicker chin, and a centrally aligned hole-punch cutout at the top. The device is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 SoC, along with a robust 7,620mAh battery supporting 90W wired fast charging.
Rumored specifications suggest that the Vivo Y300 GT will align closely with the base iQOO Z10 Turbo model. If these details hold true, the successor to the Vivo Y200 GT may incorporate a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main rear sensor, accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Additionally, it is expected to boast a 6.78-inch 144Hz 1.5K AMOLED display, certified for Low Blue Light and Low Flicker by SGS.
