The specifications for the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ have been unveiled, offering insight into the smartphone’s camera capabilities, chipset performance, and battery specifications ahead of its launch in India on Friday. Teasers prior to the announcement have suggested that this device is set to be the country’s slimmest 144Hz curved AMOLED smartphone within its category. The Infinix Note 50s 5G+ will be available in two designs: a metallic finish and a vegan leather option, the latter featuring a unique “scent tech” innovation. This new model is anticipated to complement the already launched Infinix Note 50X 5G, which hit the Indian market in March.
Features of Infinix Note 50s 5G+
Powering the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ will be a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate SoC, as confirmed in a press release from the company. This chipset is reported to achieve over 700,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark and enable gaming at a frame rate of up to 90fps.
The device will feature a robust 5,500mAh battery, equipped with 45W All-Round FastCharge 3.0 capabilities. It will run on Android 15-based XOS 15, which includes the company’s Folax AI assistant for enhanced user interaction.
In terms of camera technology, the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ will house a dual rear camera setup comprising a primary 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 sensor, capable of 4K video recording at 30fps. The smartphone will incorporate AI-driven features such as an AI wallpaper generator, AIGC Mode, and an AI Eraser function. The official microsite denotes that a 13-megapixel front-facing camera will also be included for selfies.
The display of the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ will feature a 6.78-inch full-HD+ 3D curved AMOLED panel, showcasing a 144Hz refresh rate, a 2,304Hz PWM dimming rate, 10-bit color depth, and complete DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, all protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
Additionally, the smartphone is designed to meet MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards, boasting an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance. The Marine Drift Blue variant will come with a vegan leather finish inclusive of Microencapsulation Technology, allowing it to emanate a fragrance, while the Ruby Red and Titanium Grey models will sport metallic finishes.
