The Tecno Spark Go 2 is set to launch in India shortly. The company has unveiled the handset’s design along with various color options, while also teasing some key features prior to its official release. The smartphone is designed to incorporate multiple AI capabilities, such as support for Tecno’s AI assistant, Ella, and AI-driven environmental noise cancellation aimed at enhancing call clarity. The upcoming model is anticipated to succeed the Tecno Spark Go 1, which featured a Unisoc T615 chipset and was introduced last year.
Tecno Spark Go 2 India Launch Date and Specifications
The launch date for the Tecno Spark Go 2 in India has been confirmed for June 24, with the debut scheduled for 12 PM IST, according to a dedicated microsite on Flipkart. The smartphone will be available in a variety of colors, including black, light blue, light gold, and white. Its rear panel is designed with a vertical pill-shaped camera module situated in the top left corner, accompanied by a small circular LED flash.
The display of the Tecno Spark Go 2 features slim bezels and a slightly thicker chin, along with a center-aligned hole-punch cutout. The right edge of the device is equipped with power and volume buttons, while the SIM card slot is positioned on the left edge.
The microsite indicates that the Tecno Spark Go 2 will support AI functionalities in Indian languages and will come with Ella, the company’s AI assistant. Additionally, the phone aims to deliver AI-based noise cancellation, which is expected to minimize background noise and boost call quality.
Furthermore, Tecno has announced that the Spark Go 2 will offer “no-network communication.” This suggests that users may have the capability to make phone calls or send messages without relying on cellular service, though further clarification on this feature will be available post-launch.
The previous model, the Tecno Spark Go 1, was launched in August 2024, showcasing a Unisoc T615 SoC, a robust 5,000mAh battery, a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
