The smartphone will be launched in two distinct color variants and will showcase a curved AMOLED display, complemented by various artificial intelligence functionalities. Tecno has chosen Flipkart as the exclusive retailer for the Pova Curve 5G, which is expected to feature a unique triangular camera module on the back. Speculation abounds regarding its potential use of the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC.
Tecno Pova Curve 5G to Feature Curved Display
The launch event for the Tecno Pova Curve 5G is scheduled for May 29 at 12 PM IST. Teasers indicate a new back panel design inspired by the sleek contours of starships. In addition to the curved AMOLED display, the device is touted to provide dependable 5G connectivity and an advanced AI-driven user interface. It will include Tecno’s proprietary voice assistant, Ella, alongside AI capabilities such as AI Privacy Blurring and Circle to Search.
Official images shared by Tecno India reveal the Pova Curve 5G available in black and silver. Additionally, Flipkart has launched a dedicated page in anticipation of the phone’s release. The design features a triangular-shaped camera array with dual sensors and an LED flash, arranged vertically on the rear panel.
The display also includes a central hole-punch cutout for the front-facing camera. An orange power button is located on the side, and there is an orange-accented strip situated below the camera module. Enhanced network coverage will be supported by an Intelligent Signal Hub System.
While Tecno has not yet unveiled the full specifications of the Pova Curve 5G, recent leaks suggest it may feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. Additionally, it may launch with Android 15 and come in several memory configurations, including 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB options.
