The Tecno Pova 7 5G series made its debut in India on Friday, featuring two models: the Tecno Pova 7 5G and the Tecno Pova 7 Pro 5G. Both devices are equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipsets and come with 8GB of RAM. They also include substantial 6,000mAh batteries that support 45W fast charging technology. A standout attribute of these smartphones is the innovative multi-functional Delta light interface located on the rear side. Additionally, both models leverage Tecno’s Ella AI, supporting various Indian languages. Connectivity options include enhancements like 4×4 MIMO and VOWiFi Dual Pass.
Pricing and Availability of Tecno Pova 7 5G and Pova 7 Pro 5G in India
The pricing for the Tecno Pova 7 5G starts at Rs. 12,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, with the 8GB + 256GB variant priced at Rs. 13,999. The company has noted that these prices, which are available for a limited time, include all bank offers. Customers can choose from multiple colors: Geek Black, Magic Silver, and Oasis Green.
The Tecno Pova 7 Pro 5G is available at Rs. 16,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version and Rs. 17,999 for the 8GB + 256GB configuration. This model comes in Dynamic Grey, Geek Black, and Neon Cyan colors.
According to the company, both Tecno Pova 7 5G and Pova 7 Pro 5G smartphones will officially go on sale in India via Flipkart starting July 10.

The Tecno Pova 7 Pro 5G features a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,224 x 2,720) AMOLED display, boasting a 144Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. In contrast, the standard Tecno Pova 7 5G is equipped with a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,460 pixels) LTPS IPS display that achieves brightness levels of up to 900 nits in High Brightness Mode.
Both devices are powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate SoC and offer up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The Pro model supports 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, whereas the standard variant includes 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Each smartphone runs on Android 15-based HiOS 15 and features the Ella AI chatbot with support for multiple Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, and more.
Tecno has claimed that the Pova 7 5G series is designed with an intelligent signal optimization system, improving connectivity in low-network areas across India. The handsets include an 86.5 percent antenna enclosure design and 4×4 MIMO support, which together facilitate enhanced signal reception, quicker data speeds, and reduced blind spots. Users can also benefit from VOWiFi Dual Pass, enabling call waiting alerts on SIM 2 while SIM 1 is in use.
For photography, the Tecno Pova 7 5G features a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor coupled with a Light sensor. The Pro model upgrades this with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 main sensor alongside an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. Both smartphones sport a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies.
Each model in the Tecno Pova 7 5G series is powered by a robust 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. The Pro variant also offers the convenience of 30W wireless fast charging. The unique Delta Light Interface on the rear around the camera modules comprises 104 mini LED lights that respond to music, alerts, volume adjustments, and charging notifications.
