Developer Shift Up has confirmed that Stellar Blade will make its way to PC more than a year after its initial release on PS5. The action-packed game is set to be available for PC players starting June 11, as announced by the studio on Thursday. This revelation followed the early release of a trailer on PlayStation’s YouTube channel, which highlighted platform-specific features for the upcoming PC version. Alongside the previously rumored enhancements, Stellar Blade for PC will introduce additional content, an unlocked framerate, and more.
In a recent post on the PlayStation Blog, Shift Up confirmed that all new content will also be accessible for the PS5 version via a complimentary update. “It will deliver the best experience to everyone — both users who couldn’t join Eve’s mission due to platform limitations and fans who have already witnessed the end of Eve’s protocol,” stated DonKi Lee, the game’s technical director.
Stellar Blade PC Features
The PC version of Stellar Blade will feature advanced AI upscaling and frame generation technologies, specifically Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3. Players can also enjoy a smoother gaming experience with an unlocked framerate designed for high-performance PCs.
Additionally, the game will support ultra-wide (21:9) and super ultra-wide (32:9) resolutions, promising enhanced visual experiences with high-resolution background textures. To access these detailed textures, players need to select the 4K texture option in the game settings.
In terms of gameplay, PC users will benefit from haptic feedback and adaptive trigger functionalities on the DualSense controller, enhancing the immersive experience. The game will also offer comprehensive key customization options for gamepads, keyboards, and mice, permitting players to tailor control settings to their preferences.
New content will feature an additional boss fight against Mann, the leader of the Sentinels, which will be incorporated into the Boss Challenge mode. Additionally, the protagonist Eve will receive 25 new costumes, all of which will be made available on both the PC and PS5 versions.
The game will also broaden its accessibility, introducing support for Simplified Chinese and Japanese voiceovers across all regions. Shift Up has also committed to adding matching facial animations for these languages in the game.
Shift Up has disclosed the system requirements for the PC version, which necessitate 75GB of SSD storage and a minimum of 16GB of RAM.
