The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE is anticipated to make its debut in the next few months, serving as a budget-friendly alternative to the forthcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7. These clamshell foldable smartphones are expected to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which features a book-style design. As the rumored July release date approaches, various leaks and reports have surfaced concerning the expected specifications and features of these devices. A recent report has provided insights into the starting price of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fan Edition in South Korea.
Leaked Pricing Details for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE
According to a report from SisaJournalE, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE is projected to be priced at approximately KRW 1 million (around Rs. 63,400) for the base model with 128GB of storage. The report also indicated that the clamshell foldable may be offered in a 256GB variant.
Additionally, a recent analysis suggested that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE could be available for under EUR 1,000 (approximately Rs. 96,000) in select markets.
On the other hand, the standard Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to come with 256GB and 512GB storage options. Another leak indicated that the device will likely offer RAM configurations of 8GB and 12GB.
Previous leaks suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE could support 8GB of RAM and may be available in both black and white color variants.
Samsung is expected to hold a Galaxy Unpacked event in New York in early July, at which the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 may be revealed. The Fan Edition of the Flip model is likely to be announced during the same event.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy Z Flip FE is speculated to be powered by the in-house Exynos 2500 SoC, having recently appeared on Geekbench with this chipset. Earlier reports had mentioned the possibility of using the Exynos 2400 or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, the latter being utilized in the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The South Korean technology giant is also expected to include a 3,700mAh battery with 25W wired charging support in the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. The phone may feature a 6.7-inch main foldable display along with a 3.4-inch cover screen. As for the camera capabilities, it is likely to be equipped with two 12-megapixel cameras on the back, including an ultrawide lens, and a 10-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
