This upcoming device is anticipated to be a budget-friendly alternative to the rumored Galaxy Z Flip 7. Potential Name Change for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE
A device identified by the model number SM-F761 has been detected on an eSIM compatibility site, leading to speculation that it may be branded as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Xe. Previously, this model number was linked to the anticipated Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE foldable phone.
The Galaxy Z Flip Xe name has also been listed in the GSMA IMEI database since December 2024. It is important to note, however, that the name on a certification site does not confirm its final marketing designation. Therefore, consumers and fans are advised to remain cautious about the alleged name until Samsung provides official confirmation.
Earlier reports indicated that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE might feature an Exynos 2400e SoC united with 8GB of RAM. The device is expected to include a dual-camera setup on the rear, consisting of two 12-megapixel cameras—one of which will be an ultra-wide lens—along with a 10-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is rumored to possess a 3.4-inch cover screen, similar to that of the current Galaxy Z Flip 6, and a main display measuring 6.7 inches.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is projected to house a 3,700mAh battery and support 25W wired charging. There is speculation that its price will be set below EUR 1,000, roughly translating to Rs. 92,000. The device is expected to be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 models. In terms of dimensions, the foldable phone could measure 71.9×165.2×6.9mm when opened and 71.9×84.9×15.9/17.1mm when closed.
