Among these tools is the Post Insights feature, which provides users with a detailed overview of their post’s performance, including metrics like views, upvotes, and shares. This launch follows the introduction of an AI-driven chatbot named Reddit Answers, which allows users to engage through text-based inquiries.
According to a blog post from the company, the newly introduced Post Check tool enables users to assess their submissions for potential conflicts with community rules, thereby allowing them to make necessary adjustments before posting and reducing the chance of removal.
In cases where a post is removed due to rule violations, Reddit’s new Post Recovery feature offers users the opportunity to relocate their content to another subreddit that aligns with its guidelines. To help users avoid posting violations altogether, the platform will now display prerequisite requirements such as account age and Karma before they hit send.
Additionally, Reddit plans to enhance community engagement by recommending relevant subreddits based on the content of users’ posts, making it easier for them to find appropriate forums.
The Post Insights feature, now available on both Reddit’s desktop and mobile apps, equips users with the ability to gauge the success of their contributions by tracking important metrics such as views and shares.
