Recharging your Airtel Payments Bank RuPay On-the-Go Card, which supports National Common Mobility Card (NCMC), has become more convenient than ever. Whether you’re traveling, at home, or during your daily commute, updating your card’s balance can be accomplished in just a few easy steps. Users have access to various methods for topping up their cards, including the Airtel Thanks App, BBPS-enabled applications, or quick updates at metro stations. This ensures that your card is always ready for use with minimal effort. Follow the steps outlined below for a seamless experience.
Instructions for Recharging via the Airtel Thanks App:
- Launch the Airtel Thanks App.
- Go to the ‘Bank’ section. (If you use a PPI MTS card, you can skip this step).
- Select the ‘RuPay NCMC Tile’ to enter the NCMC Card Management area.
- Tap on the ‘Add Money’ or ‘Top Up Transit Balance’ icon.
- Finalize the payment through UPI, your Airtel Payments Bank account, a debit/credit card, or a wallet. You will receive an instant confirmation for your recharge.
Instructions for Recharging via BBPS-Enabled Apps (e.g., PhonePe, Google Pay):
- Open any BBPS-supported application.
- Locate the NCMC Card Recharge section.
- Select Airtel Payments Bank from the list.
- Input the last 4 digits of your card along with the mobile number associated with it.
- Choose your desired payment method and complete the transaction.
- Your recharge will be processed, but remember to synchronize your balance after.
How to Update/Synchronize Your Balance at a Metro Station:
- After recharging your card, a balance sync is necessary.
- At the top-up terminal found in metro or bus stations, select the Balance Update or Balance Sync option and tap your NCMC card.
- Any outstanding top-up amounts will be retrieved and updated onto the card.
- Your newly recharged amount will automatically sync with your physical card.
- The balance update occurs instantly, enabling you to use your card immediately!
Note: For users with multiple pending top-ups, simply repeat the process to refresh the balance on your card.
