The Realme 15 Pro 5G is set to be launched in India on July 24, alongside its basic counterpart, the Realme 15 5G. The company has confirmed several key specifications for both models, including intricate details about the camera features of the Pro version.
Camera Specifications of the Realme 15 Pro 5G
The upcoming smartphone will feature a triple rear camera setup, highlighted by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, the Sony IMX896, which will include optical image stabilization (OIS). The company has also announced that both the front and rear cameras will be capable of 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.
Realme asserts that the Realme 15 Pro 5G will provide 4x clearer zoom capabilities along with 2x smoother transitions when compared to its predecessor, the Realme 14 Pro 5G. Additionally, the phone will include the AI MagicGlow 2.0 feature, designed to produce more natural skin tones in photographs.
The AI Party Mode feature in the Realme 15 5G series is engineered to utilize scene detection technology to automatically adjust shutter speed, contrast, and saturation in real-time settings. Moreover, the voice-controlled AI Edit Genie will support more than 20 languages to cater to a diverse user base.
Furthermore, the Realme 15 Pro 5G will be equipped with a 4D curve+ display, offering a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 6,500 nits, and a remarkable 94 percent screen-to-body ratio. It will also have a high touch sampling rate of 2,500Hz and will be safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass. The device will boast an IP69 rating, indicating strong resistance to dust and water.
On the performance front, the Realme 15 Pro 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, which is expected to ensure stable 120fps gameplay, alongside the integration of GT Boost 3.0 and Gaming Coach 2.0 technologies. The smartphone will house a substantial 7,000mAh battery, capable of supporting 80W wired fast charging, while maintaining a slim profile at 7.69mm thick.
The launch event for the Pro variant and the basic Realme 15 5G will take place in India at 7 PM IST on July 24. Both devices will be available in a selection of colors, including Flowing Silver, Silk Pink, Silk Purple, and Velvet Green, through Flipkart and the Realme India online store.
