Activision is set to launch Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile on a global scale next week. In anticipation of the release, the company has unveiled a new trailer that showcases the game’s gameplay mechanics, visual enhancements, and various in-game locations. After months of being available in a limited capacity, the game will officially release on March 21, promising improved graphics and gameplay akin to its PC and console versions. This title will also be notable for being the first in the Call of Duty series to implement cross-progression across all platforms.
The launch trailer, which can be viewed on YouTube, was released on Thursday. The footage features clips of the Verdansk and Rebirth maps, diverse weaponry, missile systems, vehicles, and the drop mechanism. While much of the trailer consists of cinematic visuals, it highlights the anticipated cross-progression system. This feature enables players to advance their characters, weapons, and carry-over battle pass progress and in-game purchases across PC, console, and mobile versions of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and Call of Duty: Warzone. The game will be accessible on both Android and iOS platforms.
In a battle royale setup, the mobile game will accommodate up to 120 players on a single map in pursuit of the last-man-standing victory. Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will feature two expansive maps—Verdansk and Rebirth Island, likely familiar territories for long-time followers of the franchise.
Additionally, the game will provide various multiplayer modes, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, and Kill Confirmed, with the Scrapyard map also in play. The Rebirth Island map will introduce a Resurgence mode that allows players to redeploy fallen teammates.
On launch day, Activision plans to include a season-based Battle Pass, which will consist of both free and premium tiers, resembling the system in Call Of Duty: Mobile. Players can acquire the premium tier using COD Points (CP), which will grant enhanced rewards compared to the free version. The Battle Pass will feature over 100 unlockable items, original bonus rewards, and opportunities to earn up to 1,400 CP through the completion of daily and weekly challenges. The premium Battle Pass will be available for 1,100 CP.
Users interested in pre-registering for the game can visit the App Store on iOS or the Play Store on Android, locate the game, and select the Install button. Activision is also providing rewards for those who pre-register, including items such as the Foes Flame vinyl, Dark Familiar emblem, M4 Archfiend weapon Blueprint, X12 Prince of Hell weapon Blueprint, Ghost Condemned operator skin, among others. According to the company, over 50 million players have pre-registered ahead of the game’s release next week.
