The Oppo Reno 13 5G and Reno 13 Pro 5G made their debut in India in January, following their initial launch in China two months prior. Now, anticipation is building around their potential successors, the Oppo Reno 14 series, which is expected to comprise the standard Oppo Reno 14 and the Reno 14 Pro. Early information indicates that these new models will feature a lightweight design and a periscope telephoto camera. Additionally, flat displays are rumored to be included in the Reno 14 lineup.

Leaked Information on Oppo Reno 14 Series

Renowned tipster Digital Chat Station has shared insights about the Oppo Reno 14 series via Weibo. The upcoming models are rumored to sport a sleek and lightweight profile, along with flat screens. The series is also expected to feature a metal middle frame accompanied by a periscope telephoto camera. In contrast, the existing Oppo Reno 13 Pro model includes a triple camera setup, which features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main sensor, a 50-megapixel JN5 telephoto sensor capable of 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel OV08D sensor.

Furthermore, reports suggest that Oppo will implement “full level waterproof” capabilities for the Reno series, potentially indicating an IP68 or IP68 + IP69 rating for enhanced water and dust resistance. In comparison, the current Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro models have received IP66+IP68+IP69 ratings for their dust and water protection.
