Oppo has officially set a launch date for its Reno 14 series in India. The series, which was first introduced in China in May, will soon be available for purchase on major platforms like Amazon and Flipkart. Rumors suggest that the Indian version of the Reno 14 Pro 5G will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. This lineup is expected to feature 50-megapixel primary rear cameras along with various AI-driven editing functionalities. Additionally, the Pro model is confirmed to come with a robust 6,200mAh battery.
In a press invitation released on Thursday, Oppo announced that the Reno 14 5G series will officially debut in India on July 3. The event will be conducted virtually and can be viewed via livestream on Oppo’s social media platforms, starting at 12:00 PM IST.
Oppo has been promoting the forthcoming Reno 14 5G phones through posts on X and a dedicated microsite. Moreover, both Amazon and Flipkart have set up special pages on their platforms to generate interest in the new lineup.
Specifications of Oppo Reno 14 5G Series
The Indian variant of the Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G is set to feature a quad rear camera configuration, consisting of a 50-megapixel OV50E sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel OV50D sensor, a telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
Powering the Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G will be the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. It is also expected to come with a substantial 6,200mAh battery, boasting support for both 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
The standard Oppo Reno 14 is anticipated to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor with a pixel size of 1.95 inches and OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor. Both models will be equipped with a 50-megapixel JN5 front camera capable of autofocus, and they are set to include various AI-enhanced features such as AI Voice Enhancer, AI Editor 2.0, AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, AI Style Transfer, and AI Livephoto 2.0.
Expected Pricing for Oppo Reno 14 5G Series in India
The pricing for the Oppo Reno 14 5G series in India is likely to reflect the pricing structure seen in China. In May, the Oppo Reno 14 5G was launched in China starting at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 33,200) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. In contrast, the Reno 14 Pro 5G was priced at CNY 3,499 (around Rs. 41,500) for the entry-level version featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Beyond India, Oppo is also gearing up to launch the Reno 14 series in various international markets, with a release scheduled in Malaysia at 6 PM (3:30 PM IST) on July 1.
