Nvidia has introduced its latest graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and GeForce RTX 5060, detailing their pricing and availability across various regions, including India. These GPUs, first unveiled at CES 2025, utilize Nvidia’s Blackwell RTX architecture and are equipped with fifth-generation tensor cores, claiming to achieve up to 759 AI tera operations per second (TOPS). The company asserts that the RTX 5060 series outperforms many AAA games, hitting over 100 frames per second (FPS) in titles such as Avowed and Hogwarts Legacy.
Pricing and Availability in India
The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti starts at a price point of Rs. 42,000 and is currently available for purchase via Amazon. In contrast, the GeForce RTX 5060 is priced starting at Rs. 33,000, with plans for its release in May.
Nvidia has confirmed that models of the GeForce RTX 5060 will be available from various manufacturers including Asus, Colorful, Gainward, Galax, Gigabyte, Inno3D, KFA2, MSI, Palit, PNY, and Zotac, featuring both stock-clocked and factory-overclocked options.
Laptops incorporating the GeForce RTX 5060 are expected to debut in May from several OEMs, such as Acer, Asus, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, MSI, and Razer.
Specifications of the New Graphics Cards
The GeForce RTX 5060 GPU is built on Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture, marking a shift from the previous RTX 4060 model that utilized the Ada Lovelace architecture. It comes with 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM, with the RTX 5060 Ti variant providing up to 16GB, and is outfitted with 6,144 CUDA cores.
The RTX 5060 and GeForce RTX 5060 Ti models also incorporate enhanced fifth-generation tensor cores and fourth-generation ray tracing cores. Nvidia claims these GPUs, featuring DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation, deliver double the performance compared to their predecessors in the RTX 4060 series.
Furthermore, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 GPUs support DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Ray Reconstruction to accelerate performance. They also offer Nvidia Reflex technology for reduced latency in popular esports titles. The 5060 series is designed to provide over 100 FPS in a variety of games including Hogwarts Legacy, Alan Wake 2, Black Myth: Wukong, Cyberpunk 2077, Stalker 2, Star Wars Outlaws, Marvel Rivals, Avowed, and Half-Life 2 RTX.
