The launch of the Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition is set for later this month, as announced by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. The company has unveiled the design of the new device, which will be available in two distinctive color options. This upcoming model showcases a design with a vegan leather finish that evokes the appearance of a camera. The device is anticipated to maintain similar specifications to the Nubia Z70S Ultra, which was introduced by the brand in November 2024 and features a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 6.85-inch OLED display, and a 6,150mAh battery.

In a post shared on Weibo, the prominent Chinese microblogging platform, Nubia confirmed that the Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition will debut in China on April 28. Recent posts from the company have provided insights into the smartphone, showcasing its design from multiple perspectives.

The Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition features a vegan leather rear panel available in black and light brown shades. Additionally, it boasts a robust triple rear camera configuration. Like its predecessor, this model will include a telephoto lens, with the primary camera expected to feature a 35mm lens.
While the full specifications of the Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition have not yet been disclosed, it is expected to closely mirror those of the original Z70S Ultra model launched in November 2024. This earlier version is equipped with a 6.85-inch OLED screen showcasing a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits. It runs on a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and offers storage options reaching 1TB via UFS 4.0 Pro.
The Nubia Z70S Ultra also includes a sophisticated triple rear camera system, highlighted by a 50-megapixel primary camera with a variable aperture (ranging from f/1.59 to f/4.0). In addition, it features a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and an under-display selfie camera for front-facing photography.
This device is powered by a 6,150mAh battery capable of 80W fast charging. The smartphone supports 5G and 4G LTE networks, as well as connectivity through Wi-Fi 7, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.4, complete with a USB Type-C port. The Nubia Z70S Ultra runs on Android 15 with the Nebula AIOS interface layered on top.
