The Motorola Edge 60 was unveiled to the world only about ten days ago, yet speculation surrounding its successor, the Motorola Edge 70, is already beginning to circulate. Recent reports have revealed an early render of this anticipated smartphone, highlighting some design features that may distinguish it from its predecessor, although changes appear to be minimal. The new device seems to maintain design similarities with the Edge 60, such as the vegan leather back and the triple rear camera array.
Render Leak of Motorola Edge 70
An exclusive render of the expected Motorola Edge 70 was shared by Android Headlines, depicting a design that closely mirrors that of the Edge 60, complete with curved edges. However, it is suggested that it may lack a fully quad-curved display. The design includes a rear triple camera system along with an LED flash, likely utilizing similar sensors as those found in the current model.

Another aspect likely to be retained from the previous model is the material for the back panel. Following the trend of previous models in the Motorola Edge series, the forthcoming Edge 70 might also feature a vegan leather back, and is showcased in a green hue.
Positioned as a near-flagship device from Motorola, the Edge 70 is expected to play a significant role, although the highest-end variant may be the anticipated Motorola Edge 70 Pro. The Edge 70 is rumored to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7000 series processor, potentially the Dimensity 7400. Additionally, given the increasing emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI) features by the Lenovo-owned brand, the upcoming handset might also offer an upgrade in RAM, with 12GB expected to become the standard across all storage options.
While official information is still pending, analysts speculate that the Edge 70 could make its debut in September, with September 24 being considered the most probable launch date — just over five months after the introduction of the Edge 60 series.
