A new report has unveiled key specifications of the upcoming smartphone, which is set to be released in two battery variants—5,200mAh and 6,720mAh. The availability of these options may differ by region, as the model is expected to follow the Moto G85 5G, which was rolled out in India in July 2024, featuring a 5,000mAh battery.

According to a post on X by tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks), the Moto G86 5G is likely to boast a 6.67-inch 1.5K (1,220×2,712 pixels) 10-bit curved pOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display is rumored to achieve peak brightness levels of up to 4,500 nits and will feature Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for protection.
An alleged promotional image leaked by the tipster indicates that the Moto G86 5G may be equipped with a 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC alongside a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. The device could potentially support up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It is expected to operate on Android 15, customized with Hello UI. Users may receive two years of major OS upgrades, while those in the EMEA region could benefit from four years of bi-monthly security updates.
