Historically, interacting with AI chatbots has been an individual experience. Users typically engage with models such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini privately, entering prompts and receiving responses meant solely for personal use—unless shared via a screenshot on social media. However, the new Meta AI platform allows users to easily share their AI-generated outputs with just a couple of clicks.

User queries about healthy snack options yield responses that are merely reiterations of information easily found through a simple web search.
For each standout post, there are numerous others comprising nonsensical or overly ambitious AI-generated landscapes that may not effectively convey the capabilities of AI technology. The screenshot examples of mashed potato mattresses or surreal representations of the papal conclave raise questions about the convincing nature of the AI outputs.
Privacy concerns accompany the social sharing aspect of the feed as well.
Engaging with the feed can sometimes resemble intruding on private discussions. One query seeking validation for Bitcoin involvement feels like an unintended glimpse into a personal conversation. Another detailed request describing a “sultry Asian beauty exuding bad girl energy” casts doubt on why such personal requests are made public when the platform is designed for voluntary sharing.
