On Wednesday, Infinix unveiled the GT 30 Pro 5G in select markets worldwide, a smartphone tailored for gamers. This device features shoulder triggers, an XBoost Gaming Engine, and an AI-driven VC cooling system to enhance performance during gaming sessions. Additionally, the model boasts an IP64-rated chassis, making it resistant to dust and splashes, alongside a robust 108-megapixel main camera at the rear. The smartphone is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate SoC and is fueled by a 5,500mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging. Users can choose from various configurations, including 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB RAM and storage options. The launch in India is anticipated soon.

Price and Availability of Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G

The starting price of the Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G in Malaysia is MYR 1,299 for the 12GB+256GB variant, while the 12GB+512GB model is priced at MYR 1,499. Buyers can select from three colors: Blade White, Dark Flare, and Shadow Ash, with availability through selected online retail platforms in the country.

Additionally, a Gaming Master Edition is offered, which includes a MagCharge Cooler and a MagCase. The company has hinted at the upcoming launch of the Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G in India, though the specific launch date remains unannounced.

Specifications and Features of Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G

The Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display that supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, a sampling rate of 2,160Hz, and a peak brightness of 1,100 nits. The display is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light and flicker-free performance and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.

Powered by a 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate SoC, the device offers up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Furthermore, it allows virtual RAM expansion of up to 12GB and runs on Android 15 with the XOS 15 interface. The device is also compatible with the Infinix AI suite, supported by Folax and DeepSeek R1 technologies.

For an optimized gaming experience, the GT 30 Pro 5G incorporates Infinix’s XBoost Gaming Engine and AI-based VC cooling system, along with gaming shoulder buttons and an x-axis linear motor. Games such as PUBG Mobile and MLBB can run at 120fps on this device.

The camera setup includes a primary 108-megapixel rear sensor paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. Powering the device is a 5,500mAh battery that supports both 45W wired and 30W wireless charging, plus 10W wired and 5W wireless reverse charging capabilities.

In terms of connectivity, the Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS with NavIC, and features a USB Type-C port. It maintains an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The smartphone is 7.9mm thick and weighs 190 grams, also incorporating an infrared sensor.
