Allegations against Google included claims that the tech giant obstructed other businesses from utilizing or developing altered versions of Android for smart TVs.
In response to these allegations, Google put forth a settlement request that suggested offering a standalone license for its Play Store and Play Services specifically for Android smart TVs in India, moving away from the practice of bundling these services.
Additionally, the CCI sanctioned a total settlement payment of Rs. 202.4 million (approximately $2.38 million) that Google is required to remit.
