The Complete Edition of Horizon Forbidden West is scheduled for release on PC on March 21. In anticipation of its launch, developer Nixxes Software has unveiled a comprehensive list of system requirements for the game. Known for adapting PlayStation exclusives for the PC, Nixxes also highlighted the various customization options users can expect when the game debuts. While Horizon Forbidden West is recognized for its impressive graphics on the PS5, the studio has aimed to ensure the game performs well on a wide range of PC specifications.
According to a recent post on the PlayStation Blog, Nixxes confirmed that players will have access to multiple graphics presets, ranging from very low to very high. This approach allows users with cutting-edge hardware to maximize their gaming experience, while still accommodating those with less powerful machines.
Furthermore, Nixxes indicated that these extensive graphical customization options would enable portability, making the game playable on devices like the Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go. Gamers using these handheld consoles should enjoy a smooth gaming experience.
It is important to note that the PC version of Horizon Forbidden West requires a minimum of 16GB of RAM, along with 150GB of SSD storage, and must run on a 64-bit version of Windows 10 (version 1909 or higher). For those aiming for high performance at 4K resolution, Nvidia’s RTX 40 series or AMD’s 7000 series graphics cards are recommended.
