The upcoming Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro smartphones are reportedly in development, serving as the successors to last year’s Honor 300 and Honor 300 Pro models. Ahead of their official launch, preliminary information regarding their specifications and design has surfaced online.

According to leaks shared by 91mobiles in partnership with Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Honor 400 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, while the Honor 400 Pro could feature a more advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Both devices are rumored to include a 200-megapixel main camera on the rear along with 5,300mAh battery capacities.

The leaks suggest that both models will run on a custom MagicOS 9.0 skin based on Android 15. They are also expected to include a 50-megapixel front camera and a 5,300mAh battery, with potential support for dual SIM cards, stereo speakers, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Additionally, both devices may feature an SGS five-star drop resistance rating.

The Honor 400 is believed to sport a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. Like its predecessor, it is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. The rear camera setup is anticipated to include a dual-camera arrangement, featuring a 200-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. An IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and support for 66W wired fast charging are also on the list of expected features.

On the other hand, the Honor 400 Pro is speculated to feature a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED display with similar specifications, including a 120Hz refresh rate and a brightness of 5,000 nits. Like the Honor 300 Pro, this model is expected to include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Its camera system is rumored to consist of a triple-camera setup with a 200-megapixel main sensor featuring OIS, alongside a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Fast charging capabilities are likely to reach up to 100W.

The Honor 400 Pro might also have an impressive IP68 and IP69 rating, indicating strong water and dust resistance. Speculated dimensions include a thickness of 8.1mm and a weight of 205 grams.

Both the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro are said to incorporate various AI features within their displays, such as dynamic dimming, AI defocus eyecare, and ultra-dark mode. Moreover, expected software capabilities could include AI Translation, AI Writing Tools, AI Summary, AI Recorder, AI Minutes, and AI Subtitles.
