At the recent Made by Google event, the tech giant unveiled a range of exciting new devices and artificial intelligence enhancements. Below is a summary of the announcements made during the Made by Google 2025 event.

Following the numerous leaks leading up to the event, Google’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold has been launched with an IP68 rating, verifying it as the first foldable device that is both dust-resistant and able to withstand continuous submersion in water. The outer display features minimized bezels, providing a larger 6.4-inch cover display, while the inner screen retains its original size of 8 inches.

The 10 Pro Fold is powered by Google’s latest Tensor G5 processor, manufactured by TSMC rather than Samsung for the first time. It supports Qi2 wireless charging capabilities, handling speeds up to 15W. More detailed coverage on this will follow soon.

Starting at $1,799, the 10 Pro Fold will be available in silver and green, hitting stores on October 9th, slightly later than usual.

The Pixel 10 Pro and its larger counterpart, the Pro XL, have maintained a similar aesthetic to earlier versions. Both devices feature display sizes of 6.3 inches and 6.8 inches, respectively, alongside unchanged RAM specifications of 16GB.

Among the key updates is the integration of Google’s Tensor G5 chip and support for Qi2 wireless charging. However, only the 10 Pro XL can take advantage of Qi 2.2-certified speeds of up to 25W, while the regular 10 Pro remains capped at 15W. Moreover, the 128GB option for the Pro XL has been discontinued, now offering storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.

The starting price for the 10 Pro is set at $999, while the 10 Pro XL begins at $1,119 for the 256GB model. Both devices are now available for preorder with a retail launch scheduled for August 28th. They are offered in shades of silver, green, white, and black.

In a significant enhancement, the standard Pixel 10 now features a three-camera system, mirroring its more advanced counterpart. However, the quality of the cameras is not quite on par, with a smaller 48-megapixel main lens, a 13MP ultrawide sensor, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens. Notably, the first two specifications represent a downgrade from the prior Pixel 9.

Furthermore, the Pixel 10 supports Qi2 wireless charging up to 15W, incorporates the Tensor G5 chip, features a slightly larger battery, and reaches a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. It starts at a price of $799 and will be available for preorder before its in-store release on August 28th. Color options include indigo, light blue, bright green, and black.

Additionally, Google introduced a ring-shaped accessory for $29.99 that attaches to the back of the phone, allowing users to prop it up. A new dual-port 67W fast charger is also on the way.

The Pixel Watch 4 promises a battery life that is 25% extended, providing 30 hours of usage for the 41mm variant and 40 hours for the 45mm version. Pricing starts at $349 for the 41mm Wi-Fi model and $449 for the LTE variant, while the 45mm starts at $399 for Wi-Fi and $499 with LTE. The watch will also be available on October 9th.

The earbuds also feature a transparency mode that allows environmental sounds in and an AI-driven wind and background noise reduction for calls. The Buds 2A provide up to seven hours of battery life with active noise cancellation enabled, and up to ten hours without it.

They will hit store shelves in black and purple on October 9th.
