The Indian segment of Downdetector’s service recorded 126 reports from local users. Social media platforms saw numerous netizens expressing their frustrations over the situation. One user on X (formerly Twitter), known as @GlamKaren, remarked, “Is anyone else having issues with @canva being SUPER wonky? For example, previewing a video (looks good), downloading (and looks different)?”
Another X user, @deanshaari, raised concerns about the impact of the outage on their workplace, stating, “Me frantically checking in with my teammates to confirm this…FML all our decks are made in this thing!” Additionally, a user identified as @nikita_ora complained, “@canva I keep receiving a ‘lost connection’ error while hardwired to the internet – is this a known platform issue?”
Canva has since acknowledged the disruptions through a post on X, informing users that the company is actively working to address the issue. However, the cause of the outage remains unspecified, and it is unclear how long it will take for Canva to fully restore its services.
