Users across all platforms are currently experiencing disruptions in PlayStation Network (PSN) services, rendering them unable to access various features including the PlayStation Store and multiple games. Many players have reported issues with signing into their PSN accounts and going online. Additionally, services associated with PlayStation Plus are also affected. Sony has acknowledged that some PSN services are facing difficulties.
PlayStation Network Faces Outage
As confirmed by Sony’s PSN Service Status page, the outages began early Tuesday morning at 6:51 AM. The disruptions have impacted account management, gaming and social features, as well as the PlayStation Store. The service status page stated, “You might have difficulty launching games, apps or network features. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.”
Update: PSN services have now resumed, with the status page indicating that all systems are functioning normally. Players should have regained access to their PSN accounts, gaming and social features, and the PlayStation Store.
Reports confirm that the PlayStation Network is operational again, with various online services functioning properly on the PS5. Players in different regions are gradually regaining access to PSN services following a multi-hour outage that commenced early Tuesday. However, Sony has not yet elaborated on the cause of the global interruption.
The PlayStation Network Service Status indicates that services are now back in operation following several hours of downtime.

Reports from Gadgets360 indicate that users in India are also experiencing the network outage. At the time of writing, access to the PlayStation Store and PSN account remains unavailable. On the PS5, users attempting to access the PlayStation Store encounter the message: “Can’t load. Something went wrong, Please try again later.”
Many games are also stuck on their opening screens, and attempts to check the PlayStation Network status in settings redirect players to the same webpage confirming ongoing network issues. Additionally, the PSN account remains offline, with PS Plus services not launching either.
While multiplayer games are currently inaccessible, some offline titles can still be launched. However, single-player games that require a connection to PSN are also unreachable.
The exact cause of the global PSN outage remains unknown. Sony is making efforts to restore its services, but the timeline for resolution is uncertain. Further updates will follow as new information becomes available.
