This leaked image indicates that Samsung has moved away from the metal camera ring design featured in last year’s model for the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The image showcases a triple rear camera arrangement.

Renowned tipster Ice Universe has posted an alleged render of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 on X (formerly Twitter). The design appears similar to that of the Galaxy Z Fold 6; however, there are notable differences. Specifically, the new render does not feature the color-matched rings around the rear camera lenses present in previous models. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and this year’s Galaxy S25 series both include thicker metallic rings that distinctly frame the camera lenses.

The tipster suggests that Samsung has opted to eliminate the ‘Saturn Ring Design’ for the final production version of the phone, following widespread criticism of the camera rings on the Galaxy S25 series. In the leaked image, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is shown in a blue hue, featuring a vertically arranged triple camera setup. Furthermore, it is anticipated that Samsung may remove the thick metallic camera rings from the upcoming Galaxy S26 series as well.
The Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event will take place in New York and will be livestreamed starting at 10:00 AM ET (7:30 PM IST) across YouTube and Samsung’s social media platforms. In India, new Galaxy devices are currently available for pre-reservation.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset. The device is rumored to feature a 6.5-inch external display and an 8-inch internal screen, with measurements of 4.2mm when unfolded and 8.9mm when folded. The anticipated weight of the device is 215 grams.
