The upcoming free trial for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will offer players a week of unrestricted access to select gameplay modes across multiple platforms. Activision has confirmed that from December 13 to December 20, participants can enjoy Multiplayer and Zombies modes on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. However, the game’s campaign will not be included in this promotional offer.
Free Trial for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Set to Launch
The announcement was made through a post on X, where Activision stated that the trial will feature newly introduced maps and modes from Black Ops 6 Season 1. Players will have the chance to explore various Multiplayer maps, including Racket, Hacienda, Nuke Town Holiday, Extraction, Hideout, and Heirloom, according to the accompanying infographic.
During the trial period, classic Multiplayer modes such as Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Kill Order will be available. Additionally, the popular Prop Hunt mode, known for adding a twist to the traditional multiplayer experience, will also be featured.

Participants will also have the opportunity to experience the Zombies mode, featuring maps such as Liberty Falls and Terminus during this trial.
In conjunction with the free trial, Activision is preparing to roll out the mid-season update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Season 1 Reloaded is scheduled to launch on Thursday, December 5, and will introduce three new Multiplayer maps—Hacienda, Racket, and Nuketown Holiday—alongside a new Zombies map titled Citadelle des Morts.
This update will expand gameplay with the addition of new weapons, perks, modes, and a new type of Zombie enemy. Two limited-time Multiplayer modes, Ran-Snack and Infectious Holiday, are also set to debut on December 12.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was released on October 25 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. The game is available to subscribers of Game Pass Ultimate without any additional charge.
