On Tuesday, Fiverr, the well-known online platform for freelancers, unveiled its latest offering: an artificial intelligence (AI) platform named Fiverr Go. This innovative platform allows gig workers to develop personalized AI models reflective of their skills and trained on their own data, enabling them to earn from the outputs. The company intends for Fiverr Go to serve as a tool to empower freelancers rather than replace them. In addition to AI model creation, users will have access to a Personal AI Assistant designed to communicate with potential clients.
Fiverr Go AI Platform Launched
The announcement of Fiverr Go came during a dedicated launch event. This platform will function as an online marketplace for AI chatbots, where each model represents a specific freelancer. Participants will be able to utilize two key features: Personal AI Model Creation and Personal AI Assistant.
To maintain quality, the service is currently limited to “top, vetted freelancers with proven track records” for AI model creation. Furthermore, Fiverr Go will initially support a select range of services, including voiceover, songwriting, graphic design, illustration, copywriting, and digital marketing.
“We built Fiverr Go to ensure creators remain at the center of the creative economy. Instead of allowing creators to be exploited, Fiverr Go guarantees that they receive proper recognition and compensation while equipping them with tools to scale their work. This initiative aims to make our freelancers irreplaceable, not obsolete,” stated Micha Kaufman, CEO and Founder of Fiverr, in a press release.

Freelancers interested in creating an AI chatbot can visit the Fiverr Go Hub. The platform’s in-house AI will recommend a model based on the user’s previous work. Alternatively, users may opt to build a model from scratch. During this process, the AI will aggregate and categorize similar samples of the freelancer’s work and train on that data. Users also have the flexibility to refine the output by adding additional details and determining pricing for the AI-generated products.
Once a chatbot is developed, it will be available on the marketplace. Buyers can choose a model, submit a prompt detailing their needs, and the AI will produce a watermarked sample output. At this stage, buyers can proceed to purchase the product, with the final version due for delivery within three days, allowing the creator time for any necessary revisions. Custom edits can also be requested based on specific buyer requirements.
In addition, freelancers will have access to the Personal AI Assistant, which is tailored to their preferences and past interactions. Fiverr asserts that this chatbot enhances communication with potential clients, addresses routine inquiries, and provides valuable business insights.
It is important to note that Fiverr Go will implement a subscription model for freelancers, with access to the Personal AI Creation Model priced at $25 (approximately Rs. 2,170) monthly. Moreover, Fiverr has announced that Fiverr Go will function as an open platform for developers, enabling them to create applications and products utilizing AI models and generative AI tools.
