DJI has expanded its portable power station lineup with the introduction of the Power 2000. This new model boasts double the capacity of its predecessor, the Power 1000, alongside enhanced output power and significant scalability options.

The Power 2000 distinguishes itself from static solutions like the Tesla Powerwall, offering a versatile design that meets everyday energy demands for users on the go. It also provides rapid charging capabilities for DJI drones.

This power station is perfectly suited for various scenarios, whether at a job site, a weekend barbecue, or a camping trip. Users can integrate solar panels and add expansion batteries for extended outdoor adventures while ensuring they have backup power at home during outages.

Powered by a 2048Wh LFP battery and equipped with a 3000W inverter, the Power 2000 presents itself as a mid-range option in the market. Its multiple ports cater to various needs, including two 140W USB-C, two 65W USB-C, four USB-A, and four AC outputs—one of which is a 30A RV outlet in the US model. Additionally, it incorporates SDC ports to facilitate fast charging of DJI drones and to expand functionality with different charging inputs.

Homeowners will find that the Power 2000 supports the connection of up to ten of DJI’s existing Power Expansion Battery 2000 modules. This impressive configuration allows for a total of 22kWh of stored energy capacity, surpassing many typical setups which max out at around 6kWh. The average US household uses approximately 29.2kWh daily, though not every device may be essential during an outage.

The Power 2000 can achieve a full charge from a standard wall outlet in approximately 75 minutes, utilizing a maximum output of 2200W. For those concerned about noise, it can also operate at a reduced volume of around 30dB due to its internal cooling fans. During power outages, the station boasts an incredibly quick 0.01-second cutover, offering uninterrupted power to sensitive devices.
