The Dell Alienware 16 Aurora made its debut in India on Thursday, targeting gamers with its portable design and performance capabilities. Weighing in at just 2.49 kg, the laptop is built for travel, offering configurations that include up to Intel Core i7 Series 2 processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPUs. A standout feature is its Cryo-Chamber design, which utilizes dual fans to enhance thermal management, ensuring optimal performance during extended gaming sessions. The device is equipped with a 16-inch WQXGA display with a 120Hz refresh rate, alongside Dolby Audio, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and user-upgradable RAM and SSD slots.

Pricing and Availability of Dell Alienware 16 Aurora in India

In India, the Dell Alienware 16 Aurora starts at a price of Rs. 1,29,990. Its initial availability will be exclusive to Amazon during the Prime Day 2025 sale from July 12 to July 14.

Post-sale, the laptop will also be accessible through various retail channels, including Dell.com, Dell Exclusive Stores, Croma, Reliance Retail, and Vijay Sales, expected to be available from July 17 onwards.

Features and Specifications of Dell Alienware 16 Aurora

The Dell Alienware 16 Aurora features a 16-inch WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) anti-glare screen, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 300 nits. The screen is designed for responsive gameplay, with a 30 ms Grey-to-Grey response time and full sRGB color gamut coverage. In terms of size, the laptop measures 265.43 x 356.98 x 18.6mm.

Customers can choose to configure the laptop with an Intel Core i7-240H processor, featuring 10 cores and a maximum P-Core clock speed of 5.20GHz. Graphics performance is supported by the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU and up to 1TB of PCIe Gen4 SSD storage. The device also includes two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots for RAM expansion. Windows 11 comes pre-installed on the machine.

According to the manufacturer, the laptop delivers 80W Total Graphics Power (TGP), a 45W Thermal Design Power (TDP), and 115W Total Performance Power (TPP).

To manage heat, the Dell Alienware 16 Aurora employs a Cryo-Chamber design that channels air through the keyboard into a chamber located at the base of the chassis, promoting efficient airflow over its critical components. The cooling system includes two fans engineered with “ultra-thin” blades that move air through three copper heat pipes for improved thermal performance.

Connectivity options on the laptop include an RJ-45 port, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack located on the left. Additionally, it has a DC-in port, another USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports with DisplayPort 1.4 support, and an HDMI 2.1 port.

The Alienware 16 Aurora also features a backlit keyboard, designed with anti-ghosting technology and 1.4mm key travel for an improved typing experience. The laptop is accompanied by a multi-touch gesture-enabled touchpad with integrated scrolling functionality. Other notable features include an HD camera, dual-array microphones, dual 2W speakers, Dolby Audio, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4 compatibility.

Powering the device is a six-cell 96 Whr Lithium-ion battery, with a 130W 7.4mm barrel AC adapter provided in the box.
