CD Projekt Red has announced the launch of Update 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077, which is now available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X. This update introduces four new vehicles along with side quests associated with each vehicle for players to complete. Additionally, a new AutoDrive feature has been implemented, allowing players to let their character, V, navigate autonomously to their desired locations.

Features of Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3

The developer provided details about the features and enhancements of Update 2.3 during a livestream event. According to the patch notes, players can expect the addition of four new vehicles, which include:

  1. Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru
  2. Rayfield Caliburn “Mordred”
  3. Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa
  4. Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila

Players can unlock the first three vehicles by completing specific side jobs, while the Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila can be purchased through the Autofixer.

Update 2.3 features the AutoDrive function that allows players to be transported autonomously to their chosen destinations. If no destination is selected, AutoDrive will take players on a scenic route through Night City. This feature is enhanced by the new Cinematic Camera, providing visually striking views of the city during the ride.

It is important to note that AutoDrive will deactivate automatically if the vehicle sustains significant damage or enters combat scenarios.

Players can also call for self-driving Delamain cabs, which become available on-demand after completing the “Don’t Lose Your Mind” job. Users can access the call vehicle list and select “Delamain Cab” to request a ride. Previously, players needed to finish all jobs in the quest line to acquire the vehicle, which lacked the self-driving capabilities.

The previous patch, Update 2.2, introduced vehicle customization through the in-game CrystalCoat technology, which had been exclusive to Rayfield models. Update 2.3 expands this customization option to other vehicles, including motorcycles from partner brands.

In addition, the new update includes 27 new NPCs available in photo mode, featuring characters like Rita Wheeler, Dum Dum, Brendan, the Cassel twins, and various fixers. Players can also effortlessly switch between V’s saved outfits, alongside more customization options for the Look-At Camera feature.

Furthermore, the latest update brings multiple improvements tailored for PC and console players. PCs now support AMD FSR 3.1 Frame Generation, Intel XeSS 2.0, and HDR10+ gaming features. Meanwhile, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S users can take advantage of VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) on compatible displays.
