Cyberpunk 2077, the immersive first-person open-world sci-fi adventure, was originally unveiled in 2020 and is currently accessible on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. In an exciting development for Mac users, the game will soon be available on these devices. Apple announced this during the reveal of its latest M4 chip-powered MacBook Pro laptops, stating that Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on Mac in early 2025, accompanied by several other titles. CD Projekt RED has confirmed that the Ultimate Edition of the game will be accessible to Mac users in the coming year.
Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition Set for Mac Release
The Ultimate Edition of Cyberpunk 2077 will make its debut on Macs equipped with Apple silicon in early 2025, according to a press release from the developers. While an exact release date is still pending, this edition will feature the Phantom Liberty expansion, providing players with a thrilling “spy-thriller” experience. Mac users can look forward to advanced features such as path tracing, frame generation, and built-in Spatial Audio.
CD Projekt RED has also indicated that Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be available across multiple platforms, including the Mac App Store, GOG.com, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Players who already own Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam will be able to access the Mac version without the need for an additional purchase.
In addition to Cyberpunk, Apple revealed in its M4 MacBook Pro launch video that Ubisoft Quebec’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows will also be available for Mac users starting in February next year.
On the hardware front, Apple updated its MacBook Pro lineup with the cutting-edge 3nm M4 chipsets. The base model of the 14-inch MacBook Pro is priced at Rs. 1,69,999 in India, while the M4 Pro version is available for Rs. 1,99,900. The larger 16-inch MacBook Pro featuring the M4 Pro SoC is listed at Rs. 2,49,900, with the premium 16-inch M4 Max variant costing Rs. 3,49,900.
