In recent days, Xbox Game Pass has seen significant updates. On Thursday, Microsoft introduced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to its game subscription service. Moreover, reports indicate that the company is preparing to add Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy to Game Pass next month, with a reliable source claiming the trilogy will be available starting August 8.
Upcoming Addition: Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
This information comes from tipster @eXtas1stv, known for accurately leaking Game Pass updates that were later confirmed by Microsoft. Earlier this week, @eXtas1stv asserted that Modern Warfare 3 would debut on Game Pass on July 24, a claim that Microsoft later validated.
On Wednesday, this source shared on X that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is expected to join Game Pass on August 8. As of now, Microsoft has not officially confirmed the inclusion of this title in the service. The addition follows the company’s acquisition of Activision, the franchise’s publisher, which took place last year.

Originally released in 2017, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy features remastered versions of the first three titles in the series: Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. The trilogy first launched on PS4 before being made available on platforms like Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One.
Call of Duty Joins Game Pass
Microsoft confirmed on Tuesday that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be added to Game Pass on July 24. This marks the first COD title available on Game Pass across Console, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate.
While Modern Warfare 3 is currently the inaugural Call of Duty game on Game Pass, the upcoming Black Ops 6 is set to be the first title in the franchise to launch directly on the service upon its release. Microsoft announced in May that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting October 25.
Additionally, earlier this month, Microsoft raised the prices for Game Pass subscriptions across various tiers and regions, introducing a new ‘Standard’ tier that will not include new titles on their launch dates.
