Akis Evangelidis, co-founder and President of Nothing in India, confirmed through a post on X that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will include a transparent protective back cover as part of its package. He referenced a prior announcement regarding the inclusion of a charging adapter. The wording of his earlier post suggests that these accessories may be specifically limited to the Indian edition of the smartphone.
The image shared by Evangelidis in his recent post displayed the upper section of the CMF Phone 2 Pro’s transparent protective case. The visible cutouts imply the presence of a triple rear camera system.
Earlier leaks have revealed hands-on images of the CMF device, showcasing the triangular arrangement of its triple rear camera setup. Two circular sensors are positioned vertically in the top left corner of the rear panel, while a third, smaller round sensor is located adjacent to them, accompanied by an LED flash situated just below.
Additional teasers from the company suggest that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will feature a textured and interchangeable back panel. Confirmations indicate that the device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor, boasting capabilities for a 120fps frame rate in BGMI gaming, a 1,000Hz touch sampling rate, and a network enhancement of 53 percent. The design promises to be slim and lightweight.
For context, the previous model, the CMF Phone 1, featured a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, a dual rear camera with a 50-megapixel sensor, and an interchangeable back cover. Upon its release, the phone was priced at ₹15,999 and ₹17,999 for the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB configurations, respectively.
