Sony has announced the lineup of games set to debut in the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for the month of April. Members subscribed to the PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium tiers can anticipate new titles that include the deep-sea adventure RPG Dave the Diver, the action-packed Metroidvania Tales of Kenzera: Zau, the indie platformer Animal Well, the open-world racing game The Crew 2, and the action platformer Raji: An Ancient Epic, among others. Most of these titles will be accessible starting April 16, while Tales of Kenzera: Zau and Animal Well will launch on April 23 and May 9, respectively.
The April Game Catalog lineup was officially confirmed via the PlayStation Blog on Wednesday. Earlier this month, both Dave the Diver and Tales of Kenzera: Zau were teased as upcoming additions to the catalog.
Dave the Diver, developed by Mintrocket, made a significant impact when it launched on PC last year and followed up with a release on Nintendo Switch. It will finally become available on PlayStation consoles on April 16 as part of the PS Plus offerings. Featuring vibrant pixel art, the game allows players to take on the role of Dave, who dives into the ocean during the day to capture exotic fish, which he later serves at a sushi restaurant he operates at night. Players will navigate the depths of the Blue Hole with a harpoon, combat various dangers, discover treasures, and engage in the restaurant’s evening operations. Dave the Diver will be playable on both PS4 and PS5.
This month’s Game Catalog features a strong selection of indie titles. Among them, Animal Well is a pixel-art Metroidvania platformer from solo developer Billy Basso set to launch on May 9. In this game, players control a shapeless being exploring complex levels while encountering various animal spirits. In addition to platforming challenges, the game includes numerous puzzles. Animal Well will be made available for PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium subscribers on PS5.

Another title making its debut as a day-one launch on April 23 is Tales of Kenzera: Zau. This narrative-driven 2.5D action platformer invites players to control Zau, a young warrior on a quest to find the God of Death. Influenced by games like Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, it boasts a mix of fast-paced combat and intricate platforming mechanics. Tales of Kenzera: Zau will be available exclusively for PS5.
In line with the indie action platformer theme, Raji: An Ancient Epic, created by Indian studio Nodding Heads Games, will join the PS Plus catalog this month. Drawing inspiration from Indian mythology, players embark on Raji’s journey to rescue her younger brother while facing off against mythical creatures and demons. The game combines puzzle-solving elements with a unique artistic style and will be available on both PS4 and PS5.

Excluding Animal Well and Tales of Kenzera: Zau, all other titles in the PS Plus Game Catalog will be playable beginning April 16. It is important to note that Game Catalog titles cannot be added permanently to a player’s game library and are only playable for the duration they are offered on the service.
Additionally, at the end of last month, Sony confirmed the monthly free games available to PS Plus subscribers across all tiers for April. These games include Immortals of Aveum, Minecraft Legends, and Skul: The Hero Slayer, all of which are now live and can be added to subscriber libraries until May 6.
The complete list of games joining the PS Plus Game Catalog this month for Extra and Deluxe/Premium members will become available starting April 16.
Furthermore, Sony revealed its PS Plus Classics catalog for this month, accessible only to Deluxe/Premium members. This selection includes the original PlayStation versions of Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire, and MediEvil.
The subscription for PlayStation Plus Extra starts at ₹749 per month in India, while the Deluxe tier subscription costs ₹849 per month.
