Next week, India will witness the launch of Amazon Prime Day 2025. As anticipation builds for the two-day event, the online retail giant has revealed a preview of the discounts shoppers can expect. Exclusively available to Amazon Prime members, the sale will feature discounts of up to 40 percent on smartphones and accessories. Consumers can also look forward to significant price reductions across various categories, including TVs, appliances, Amazon devices, home and kitchen goods, furniture, and fashion.
Amazon Prime Day 2025: Smartphone Discounts
The lead-up to the Prime Day 2025 sale has commenced, with the launch of a dedicated microsite detailing the upcoming offers and bank promotions. The event is set to run from July 12 to July 14, featuring up to 40 percent off on various smartphone models including the iPhone 15, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, OnePlus 13s, and iQOO Neo 10R.
This 72-hour shopping event will offer new releases from popular brands such as Samsung, Oppo, OnePlus, and Honor. Featured devices include the Samsung Galaxy M36 5G, OnePlus Nord 5, OnePlus Nord CE 5, iQOO Z10 Lite 5G, Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G, Honor X9c, Oppo Reno 14 series, and Lava Storm Lite 5G.
Amazon has partnered with ICICI and SBI banks to provide up to 10 percent savings on transactions made using their credit cards and EMI options. Discounts will also apply to purchases made with ICICI Bank debit cards. In addition, the sale will offer no-cost EMI plans for up to 24 months, Amazon Pay discounts, and exchange deals. Customers using the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card will enjoy additional benefits.
Laptops will feature discounts of up to 40 percent during the Amazon Prime Day Sale, while tablets and speakers may see discounts as high as 60 percent. Wearables, cameras, and various accessories are expected to be sold at reductions of up to 50 percent.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE will be available for Rs. 28,999, reduced from its original price of Rs. 44,999. Other laptops, including the HP OmniBook 5, Asus Vivobook 15, and Acer Aspire Lite, will also benefit from price reductions.
Shoppers can anticipate up to 65 percent off on top television brands such as Sony, Samsung, LG, TCL, and Xiaomi. Home appliances are also confirmed to be discounted by up to 65 percent.
For example, the Samsung 43-inch Crystal 4K Vista Pro Ultra HD TV (UA43UE86AFULXL) will be on sale for Rs. 26,999, down from the original price of Rs. 46,900. Additionally, Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro TWS earbuds will feature discounted pricing during the event.
Amazon’s own products are also set to see price cuts, with discounts of up to 50 percent on Echo smart speakers, Fire TV devices, and Kindle e-readers.
It is important to note that the Amazon Prime Day 2025 event is exclusively for Prime members. Those who are not members can either purchase a subscription or initiate a 30-day free trial to take advantage of the sale. The annual Prime membership is priced at Rs. 1,499 in India, while the Amazon Prime Shopping Edition is available for Rs. 399 annually.
