Oppo is set to launch the Find X8 Ultra on April 10 in China, alongside the Find X8s and Find X8s+ models. Leading up to the release, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has shared official images that showcase the designs of these devices. The visuals indicate a hole-punch display design as well as circular camera modules.
Design Features of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra and Find X8s Series
In a series of posts on Weibo, Oppo has revealed various design elements of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s, and Find X8s+. The teasers feature the handsets in multiple color options, showcasing a centrally located hole-punch cutout on the display framed by slim bezels. The rear camera configuration is prominently displayed in the teaser images, arranged within a circular module featuring Hasselblad branding in the center, with the flash positioned at the left corner of the back panel.
The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is noted for its flat display, adopting a design aesthetic similar to that of the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro models. None of the three devices appear to include an alert slider, opting instead for a single button along the side.
Color options for the Oppo Find X8 Ultra include Hoshino Black, Moonlight White, and Morning Light (translated from Chinese). The Oppo Find X8s will be available in Cherry Blossom Pink, Moonlight White, Island Blue, and Hoshino Black (translated from Chinese). In contrast, the Find X8s+ is expected in Moonlight White, Hoshino Black, and Hyacinth Purple (translated from Chinese). All models are confirmed to support up to 16GB of RAM and a maximum storage capacity of 1TB.
The launch event for the Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s, and Find X8s+ will take place on April 10 at 7:00 PM local time (4:30 PM IST). In addition to the new smartphones, Oppo will also introduce the Oppo Watch X2 Mini smartwatch, the Pad 4 Pro tablet, and Enco Free 4 earbuds during the event.
It is reported that the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will run on a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, while the Oppo Find X8s and Find X8s+ are anticipated to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip.
