The Vivo V50e is set to debut in India later this month, with the company confirming significant details about the launch date, color options, and key camera specifications. Prior announcements from Vivo also outlined various build features of the anticipated smartphone. Consumers will be able to purchase the device through Flipkart and Vivo’s official online store. Meanwhile, preliminary information surrounding the successor to the Vivo V40e has emerged, hinting at its expected features and price range. The Vivo V50e will complement the standard Vivo V50, which was launched in the country earlier in February.
Details on the Vivo V50e Launch in India
The Vivo V50e is scheduled to launch in India on April 10 at 12 PM IST, as indicated by a recent X post from the company. The official landing page for the device indicates it will be available in two color variants: Pearl White and Sapphire Blue. 
The Vivo V50e microsite on Flipkart confirms that it will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, it will include an ultrawide secondary camera boasting a 116-degree field of view, complemented by a circular Aura Light feature.
Previous confirmations from Vivo indicated that the V50e will also have a 50-megapixel front camera. Both the rear and front cameras are expected to support 4K video recording capabilities. The smartphone will sport a quad-curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a slim profile measuring just 7.3mm. The device is likely to have IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and will support various AI-driven features, including AI Image Expander, AI Note Assist, Circle to Search, and AI Transcript Assist.
Recent leaks suggest that the pricing for the Vivo V50e in India will fall within the range of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000. The device is anticipated to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC and will come equipped with a 5,600mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. It is also expected to feature a 6.77-inch 1.5K display and an in-display fingerprint sensor, running on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15.
For context, the Vivo V40e launched in India with an initial price tag of Rs. 28,999 for the 128GB model and Rs. 30,999 for the 256GB option. This model also utilized a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and a 5,500mAh battery, offering 80W fast charging support.
