Microsoft is set to host an Xbox Partner Preview broadcast later this week, featuring a variety of new and upcoming games from third-party developers. Scheduled for October 17, the event will include updates from notable studios such as Remedy Entertainment, Sega, and 505 Games. Among the highlighted content is gameplay for the forthcoming Alan Wake II expansion and a fresh trailer for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
Details on the Xbox Partner Preview
The Partner Preview will be approximately 25 minutes long and showcase over a dozen game trailers, as detailed in a recent Xbox Wire post. Fans can expect a first look at gameplay for the upcoming Alan Wake 2 expansion titled The Lake House. Additionally, a trailer for Ryu Ga Gotoku’s Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, which is set to launch in February 2025, will make its debut, alongside a presentation featuring the bosses from the Soulslike action-RPG Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
The broadcast will also showcase several world premiere trailers, new game announcements, and gameplay reveals along with release date updates for anticipated titles.
The Xbox Partner Preview is scheduled to air on Xbox’s YouTube and Twitch channels on Thursday, October 17, at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. BST (10:30 p.m. IST).
The previous Xbox Partner Preview took place in March, where various third-party developers shared updates on games such as Unknown 9: Awakening, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, and Persona 3 Reload. It also featured new game announcements including The Sinking City 2, Creatures of Ava, Monster Jam Showdown, and Sleight of Hand.
Furthermore, in June, Microsoft conducted a comprehensive Xbox Games Showcase unveiling numerous upcoming first-party titles. This event highlighted the next installment in the Gears of War series, Doom: The Dark Ages, and Perfect Dark, as well as updates on previously announced projects such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, South of Midnight, and Avowed.
