The toggle for activating this silent mode for unknown callers can be found under Settings > Privacy. Mute options help users avoid potential spam calls, though these calls will still appear in the Calls log and notifications. To utilize this feature, users can download the latest version of WhatsApp beta from the Google Play Store.
In addition, the Android beta version 2.23.10.6 presents a user interface overhaul designed to resemble the layout of WhatsApp for iOS. The new interface includes a bottom navigation bar that allows for smoother transitions between tabs. This adaptation is currently available to a limited number of beta testers and will gradually expand its availability.
WhatsApp is also adding features for polls, including the ability to create single-vote polls and search for these polls using filters. Users will receive notifications when votes are cast on polls.
