WhatsApp is in the process of developing a new feature designed to enhance the user experience by enabling the creation of custom sticker packs. This information comes from findings reported by a feature tracker, which highlights the potential improvements in sticker organization on the platform.
WhatsApp Enhances User Experience with Custom Sticker Packs
As noted by feature tracker WABetaInfo, a new capability has been identified in the ongoing rollout of the WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.24.22.13. Although the feature is still under development and unavailable for testing by users at this stage, insights into its functionality have been revealed.

According to a screenshot of the feature, users will see an option labeled Add to sticker pack on a pop-up card that appears when a sticker is tapped. This option will be situated between Add to Favourites and Edit sticker.
Upon selecting this new option, users will be prompted with a Create sticker pack dialog box, allowing them to input a name for their custom sticker pack. After saving, the newly created pack will be available in the sticker selection menu on WhatsApp.
The feature tracker also mentions that users can access a three-dot button next to their custom sticker pack, which will provide options to Send the pack to another user or Remove it if needed.
This functionality aims to assist users in better organizing their custom stickers, alleviating the clutter currently found in the favourites section. While still in the development phase, this feature may become accessible to beta testers in a future version of WhatsApp.
