The 4G version of the Vivo Y31 was released in January 2021, while the Vivo Y30 5G was launched in select global markets in July 2022. The anticipated Y31 5G is expected to feature enhancements compared to its predecessors.
Vivo Y31 5G Set to Launch in India
A report from PassionateGeekz states that the Vivo Y31 5G is expected to launch in India soon. This smartphone is anticipated to be a budget-friendly option. Specific features of the new device remain undisclosed, but more information regarding the official launch date, expected specifications, and availability will likely emerge in the near future.
The previous 4G variant of the Vivo Y31 was priced at Rs. 16,490 for the single 6GB + 128GB RAM and storage model. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 SoC, includes a robust 5,000mAh battery, a 48-megapixel triple rear camera system, and a 16-megapixel front camera. The device features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD display and incorporates a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
In comparison, the Vivo Y30 5G boasts a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, also with a 5,000mAh battery. Its camera setup includes a 50-megapixel dual rear camera, accompanied by an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone showcases a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS display and includes an Ultra Game Mode 2.0 with 4D game vibration, as well as a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.
Additionally, Vivo is preparing to unveil another Y-series mobile device in international markets. The Vivo Y400 is scheduled for launch in Indonesia on August 4. This upcoming handset is expected to feature a 6.67-inch 120Hz full-HD+ AMOLED display, a 6,000mAh battery, and a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 main sensor.
The Vivo Y400 is also rumored to offer IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Teasers suggest that it will have a sleek design at 7.90mm thickness and a weight of 196g. The phone is said to support a range of innovative features, including Google’s Circle to Search, AI Transcript Assist, AI Notes Summary, AI Captions, AI Documents, and Link to Windows, along with other AI capabilities.
