The Vivo X200 Ultra is scheduled to be officially launched in China next week. In anticipation of the event, a Vivo executive has shared new teasers on social media, outlining the features of the upcoming smartphone. The Vivo X200 Ultra will feature a 2K OLED display and a robust 6,000mAh battery. This battery will support both 40W wireless and 90W wired charging. A recent teaser also highlights the phone’s video capabilities, asserting a competitive edge over the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Key Specifications of the Vivo X200 Ultra
Recent promotional materials from Vivo on Weibo confirm that the X200 Ultra will include a Zeiss-branded 2K OLED display protected by Armour glass. It will boast a large 6,000mAh battery, surpassing the previous Vivo X100 Ultra, which had a 5,500mAh battery with lower charging speeds of 30W wireless and 80W wired.
With a thickness of 8.69mm, the Vivo X200 Ultra incorporates an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. It will operate on the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, ensuring high performance.
Han Bo Xiao, Vivo’s Product Manager, has also highlighted the phone’s capabilities in lowlight time-lapse photography. The device will come equipped with an improved ultra-wide-angle lens, allowing for stunning 4K time-lapse videos across a full range of focal lengths. Xiao further claims that the Vivo X200 Ultra outperforms the iPhone 16 Pro Max in this regard, with the ability to analyze and adapt to varying light and shadow conditions in different environments (translated from Chinese).
The Vivo X200 Ultra is set to launch in China on April 21 at 7 PM local time (4:30 PM IST). Additionally, the event will showcase other devices, including the Vivo X200s, Vivo Pad 5 Pro, Vivo Pad SE, and Vivo Watch 5.
In the weeks leading up to the launch, Vivo has already teased several key specifications of the X200 Ultra. It will include the Vivo V3+ chip and a VS1 chip dedicated to imaging. The smartphone will also feature a Zeiss-backed triple rear camera setup, which includes a telephoto lens, and it may come with an optional Photography Kit.
