The Vivo X200 Ultra is set to launch in China on April 21, alongside the Vivo X200s model. These devices will join the family of the standard Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini, which were introduced in October 2024. A high-ranking official from Vivo has disclosed several important features about the upcoming Vivo X200 Ultra, including its color options.

Details on Vivo X200 Ultra’s Features and Colors

The Vivo X200 Ultra will be available in three color variants: black, red, and silver, according to a post from Vivo’s Product Vice President, Huang Tao, on Weibo. He also confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and will come equipped with a larger battery that supports both wireless and bypass charging capabilities. For context, its predecessor, the Vivo X100 Ultra, features a 5,500mAh battery with 80W wired and 30W wireless charging support.

Additionally, Tao indicated that the Vivo X200 Ultra will include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which allows for quick unlocking—even when the user’s hands are wet. The smartphone will showcase a 2K display integrating Zeiss Master Colour technology, alongside a “circular polarised eye protection” feature and armor glass for durability.

On the camera front, Tao described the Vivo X200 Ultra, internally nicknamed “V-camera,” as a “pocket smart camera that can make calls.” The rear camera module, supported by Zeiss and featuring optical image stabilization (OIS), will include an 85mm APO telephoto lens, a 14mm ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 35mm “humanistic documentary lens.”

The rear camera is designed to support full-focus 4K video recording at 60 frames per second, along with 10-bit Log and cinematic 4K slow-motion recording at 120 frames per second. A new physical camera control button will also be available. Moreover, a customizable zoom flash system will be included to enhance DSLR-like photography experiences. Tao hinted at the existence of a fourth camera sensor, although specifics on this feature have yet to be disclosed. The device will also be integrated with Vivo’s V3+ and VS1 imaging chipsets.
