The Vivo X200 Ultra is set to launch in China on April 21, alongside the Vivo X200s. It will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and come with a specialized optional Photography Kit, designed for photography enthusiasts. A senior company official has revealed both the design and key specifications of this kit, which promises enhanced battery life and improved grip for users.
Vivo X200 Ultra Photography Kit Features
According to Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao, the Photography Kit will be available for the Vivo X200 Ultra. A teaser image shared on Weibo presents the kit in sleek black, reminiscent of retro camera designs, and it is expected to debut on the same date as the smartphone.
Boxiao noted that the kit will support USB Type-C connectivity and will include a 2,300mAh battery. This additional power supply, combined with the rumored 6,000mAh battery of the Vivo X200 Ultra, should significantly extend usage time for video and photo shoots.
The Photography Kit will feature a bracket design to help users stabilize their shots effectively. It will also include a dedicated video button, allowing for quick video recording with a single press.
In addition, the kit will come with a shoulder strap for easier transport. Boxiao mentioned that more color options may be available beyond those depicted in the teaser image.
Recently, Vivo Product Vice President Huang Tao hinted at the color options for the Vivo X200 Ultra, which may include black, red, and silver. The smartphone is expected to feature a Zeiss-backed rear camera module equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), comprising an 85mm APO telephoto lens, a 14mm ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 35mm “humanistic documentary lens.” A fourth sensor has been teased but remains unconfirmed.
The Vivo X200 Ultra will utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and will support both wireless charging and bypass charging capabilities. The device is designed with a 2K display featuring Zeiss Master Colour, eye protection features, and robust armour glass protection. For secure access, it will also incorporate an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
