The Vivo X200 FE is anticipated to be launched in India, potentially substituting the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, which was unveiled in China in October 2024. This release coincided with the introduction of the basic and Pro variants. The base and Pro models made their debut in India last December. Initially, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini and the X200 Ultra were expected to be introduced in the Indian market, but a recent report suggests that the company may opt to release an FE variant instead, possibly alongside the Vivo X200 Ultra.
Expected Features and Launch Timeline for Vivo X200 FE in India
According to a report by Smartprix, it is anticipated that the Vivo X200 FE will arrive in India by late June or early July. This device is set to replace the previously rumored Vivo X200 Pro Mini, which was expected to launch alongside the Vivo X200 Ultra.
The upcoming model in the Vivo X200 lineup is speculated to be powered by a Dimensity 9400e SoC, a chip that has yet to be officially announced and is believed to be a lesser variant of the Dimensity 9400 chipset. In China, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini features a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC and is priced at CNY 4,699, approximately Rs. 56,000, for the 12GB+256GB version.
The Vivo X200 FE is expected to sport a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For its camera setup, it is likely to include a 50-megapixel main rear sensor paired with a 50-megapixel telephoto lens. Additionally, a 50-megapixel camera may be included on the front for selfies and video calls. Fast charging capabilities at 90W are also anticipated, though the exact battery size remains unspecified.
Furthermore, a report from Gizmochina indicates that the Vivo X200 FE could also be launched in China as the Vivo S30 Pro Mini, which is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset. This chip has not yet been confirmed and may also be used in the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition and an expected Realme device.
